A summary is only useful if you can get at what it is made of. SUITE gives you both — the report on screen, and the records underneath it as a file.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE
WHAT THIS IS NOT
There is no report builder and no custom dashboard designer. These are the specific reports a service business is asked for at tax time and month end.
Every figure is computed from the records you already keep in SUITE, so a report cannot disagree with the document it came from.
Reports follow the location you are in. Two branches are not silently added together.
The balance in the aging report and the balance on the client's copy are produced by the same calculation.
Categories you assign to transactions are remembered, so the same merchant is not re-categorised every month.
CSV is a starting point for your accountant's own tooling, not a dead end.
COMMON QUESTIONS
No. There is no report builder. SUITE ships the specific reports a service business is actually asked for — profit and loss, tax summary, receivables aging, 1099 totals and mileage — plus CSV export of the records behind them.
Yes. The balance in the report and the balance on the client's copy of the invoice are produced by the same calculation, so the two cannot disagree.
