A lead is not a deal. SUITE tracks the opportunity itself — its stage, its value, its next action, and a permanent record of every move it has made.
WHAT YOU GET
HOW A DEAL MOVES
From your public profile form, a website embed, or entered by hand — a deal opens with it.
Send an estimate or proposal; the deal carries the document with it.
Acceptance can move the deal to Won on its own, and the event records that the system did it — not a person.
Won or Lost, with a reason, and the history stays readable afterwards.
Time-in-stage is measured from the last stage change, on open deals only. A job won in March is finished, not stale.
A deal's value carries its own currency, derived from the location it belongs to — so two locations never sum into a number that is money in neither.
Work the board when you are triaging, or open a single deal when you need its documents, its history and its next step in one place.
COMMON QUESTIONS
No. A contact is a person or company; a deal is one opportunity with them. The same client can hold more than one open deal, which is what usually breaks in software that stores a single stage on the customer record.
It can move to Won automatically, and the stage history records that the system made the move rather than a person. If a deposit is required, the deal waits until the deposit is actually satisfied.
No, and that is deliberate. Won is a permanent record of an outcome. Repeat work starts a new deal, so your win rate and your history stay honest.
